As not everyone has access to broadband or super fast computers we try to keep our website simple and uncluttered. Animal Concern incorporates the Scottish Anti-Vivisection Society and is an autonomous campaigning pressure group which operates as a non-profit making Limited Company. We can trace our campaign history back to 1876. Although we have been campaigning successfully for over 130 years we are a small group and we rely on public support to continue our important work. In July 2000 Animal Concern transferred part of its work to the Animal Concern Advice Line (ACAL). Granted charity recognition in February 2001 ACAL now undertakes the advice and support service previously provided by Animal Concern.
